The health and wellbeing of our customers and staff are paramount. Our COVID-19 measures have been designed with the recommendations set out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and ECDC. It minimizes contact with our staff while ensuring you have all you need for an enjoyable vacation.
AT OUR BASE
Our base offices
- Disinfected at the end of every working day
- Regular disinfecting of office surfaces throughout the day
- Cash transaction machines and tablets disinfected after each guest
- Contactless payment preferred
- Each base will display our COVID-19 measures on an information board
- Contact with our staff will be as minimal as possible and the reception process will be conducted in the open whenever possible
Our base staff
- Have temperatures taken before starting work
- Wear masks when in contact with guests
- Observe social distancing guidelines (2m apart)
- Regular hand disinfection and hand washing
BAREBOAT CHARTERS
Boat cleaning
- Disinfecting with ecologically friendly formula and disinfecting of the interior after the return of each charter and before cleaning staff enter the boat, as outlined by WHO and ECDC
- Disinfecting of all inside surfaces with disinfectant and mattresses sanitized
- For each charter, a sanitized galley inventory set is placed in a sealed bag on the saloon table and sanitized bed linen is in a sealed bag on the beds
- There is a second disinfecting with ecologically friendly formula and disinfecting of the interior after cleaning is completed
- Finally, we disinfect the boat exterior and lockers including cushions
Check in and check out
- Only one guest/skipper will be allowed in the office (procedures will be conducted outside wherever possible) – the rest of the crew need to observe social distancing guidelines
- Guests will be required to wear masks
- Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands
- For check out, only the skipper can take part in the technical briefing with one of our base team (wearing a face mask), observing social distancing guidelines. The rest of the crew need to observe social distancing guidelines
- For check in, only the skipper is allowed to be on the pontoon – the rest of the crew need to observe social distancing guidelines
Onboard hygiene
- Skippers will be supplied with masks and gloves
- Guests will be provided with local emergency numbers
- Each starter pack includes 1x 0.5L bottle of alcohol-based disinfecting agent suitable for hands and surfaces
- The galley inventory set will be in a sealed bag for you to put away
- The bed linen will be in a sealed bag for you to make up the beds
- Snorkel equipment will be not be provided for hygiene reasons
BY THE CABIN CHARTERS
Our crew
- Check their temperatures twice each daily and send a daily report with their temperatures and guest health to the cabin cruise manager
- Ensure COVID-19 measures are observed while onboard and on excursions
- Purchase packaged food where possible and sanitize food before bring onboard
- Wear masks and gloves while preparing and serving food
- Masks worn when social distancing cannot be observed
Boat cleaning
- Disinfecting with ecologically friendly formula and disinfecting of the interior after the return of each charter and before cleaning staff enter the boat, as outlined by WHO and ECDC
- Disinfecting of all inside surfaces with disinfectant and mattresses/pillows/blankets sanitized between charters
- For each charter, a sanitized galley inventory set is placed in a sealed bag on the saloon table and sanitized bed linen is in a sealed bag on the beds. Beds are not made up
- There is a second disinfecting with ecologically friendly formula and disinfecting of the interior after cleaning is completed
- Finally, we disinfect the boat exterior and lockers including cushions
Boarding
- Only one guest will be allowed in the office at a time (procedures will be conducted outside wherever possible)
- Guests may be requested to wear masks when social distancing cannot be observed
- Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands
- Guests will board one by one, observing social distancing
- Guests will be provided with leaflets describing COVID-19 symptoms and rules of conduct while on and off the boat, which will be discussed during the safety briefing
- Guests to sign they have read and understood rules of conduct onboard
Disembarking
- Guests will disembark the boat one by one, observing social distancing
Onboard hygiene
- The temperature of every person onboard is taken daily
- Guests must regularly wash and disinfect hands – alcohol-based disinfecting agent available in public areas onboard
- Shoes to be taken off and disinfected on return to the boat and placed in individual bags after disinfection
- Social distancing must be observed on board in the front lounge, cockpit, interior and fly bridge
- Guests may be requested to wear masks when social distancing cannot be observed
- Pack face masks and allow four per day
- Maximum of six people served per meals – two meal servings will be provided if needed
- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms must report them immediately to the captain
- Snorkel equipment will be not be provided for hygiene reasons
