Hull number one of the new Lagoon Seventy 8 Motor Yacht flagship has been launched from the factory in France. The Seventy 8 will be the largest motor yacht ever built by Lagoon and the manufacturers had this to say about the new yacht which has been in development for two years. “Behind the elegant and refined lines of this great yacht, conceals unparalleled comfort and autonomy that will seduce every blue water cruising enthusiasts. Her performance is in line with her destiny of “fast long range cruiser catamaran”. The SEVENTY 8 is indeed a fine example of the French expertise from Lagoon. The recently launched boat will be put through sea trials and testing.
Lagoon is building on the success of the Lagoon Seventy 7 sailing catamaran launched in 2016 which pushed the limits of luxury catamaran design. Lagoon motor yachts have been designed to be safe and user-friendly catamarans with incomparable comfort at sea or at a mooring and a long enough distance cruising capacity to significantly widen their owner’s horizons. The Lagoon Seventy 8 will premier to the public next Fall at the Cannes Yachting Festival in Europe.
