Itinerary Highlights of The British Virgin Islands

The baths

Virgin Gorda

Navigate through massive granite boulders forming natural grottoes and tide pools at The Baths, a geological wonder. With short hikes and stunning views, this is a must-see destination. Revel in the maze-like paths between the boulders, perfect for snorkelling or beachcombing.

On the island’s opposite end, North Sound offers a lively contrast with legendary spots like Saba Rock, Leverick Bay, and Bitter End Yacht Club. Each destination features mooring balls and promises unforgettable experiences, from waterfront dining to watersports. Don’t miss the lively pirate show at Leverick Bay, a local favourite for sailors and families alike.

Norman Island

Craving a pirate-themed night out? Drop anchor in the sheltered harbour of this island and climb aboard Willy T’s. A legendary floating bar known for its wild charm and unforgettable antics. Nearby, the Indians offer some of the best snorkelling in the BVI. These striking rock formations rise from the deep blue, and are covered in vibrant coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. Snag a mooring ball, dive in for a swim, and enjoy lunch onboard before sailing off to your next adventure.

Anegada

A unique low-lying coral island famed for its endless white-sand beaches, flamingos, and legendary massive lobster. Surrounded by Horseshoe Reef, one of the largest barrier reefs in the Caribbean, this remote gem is perfect for snorkelling, spotting sea turtles, and enjoying crystal-clear waters. To reach the iconic Cow Wreck Beach, hop in a local taxi or rent a Moke and cruise across the island. There, beachfront bars await atop soft dunes with views stretching out over the reef. Due to shallow waters and reef hazards, charter yachts should approach with care, following the marked channel into Settlers Point.

White Bay

Jost Van Dyke

No trip to the British Virgin Islands is complete without a stop at Jost Van Dyke, the ultimate island for barefoot bars and island vibes. Drop anchor in White Bay and wade ashore to the famous and award winning Soggy Dollar Bar, home of the original Painkiller cocktail. Just around the corner in Great Harbour Foxy’s is a great spot for live music and local flavor. This island is where unforgettable days blend into lively nights.

Explore the BVI: Island-Hopping at Its Best

Set your course around Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Norman Island, Cooper, Peter, and more. Whether it’s snorkelling at Monkey Point, dancing at beach bars in White Bay, or exploring the RMS Rhone wreck, the options are endless. With all islands in sight, each sail leg takes just an hour or two—making spontaneous stops easy.

Anchor in White Bay for the famous Painkiller cocktail at the Soggy Dollar Bar, or visit Great Harbour’s Foxy’s and Corsair’s. On Norman Island, dive into sea level caves, snorkel moon jellyfish, or relax at waterfront spots like Pirates Bight.

The calming trade winds, clear protected coves, and stunning anchorages make the BVI a top world-class sailing destination.

Planning Your BVI Adventure

The BVI enjoys warm, tropical conditions year-round. The peak season runs December through April, with clear skies, brisk breezes, and temperatures around 28–30°C (82–86°F). The quieter shoulder months offer softer pricing and fewer crowds.

The Dream Yacht base is conveniently located near Tortola’s airport on Beef Island. Of fly into St. Thomas and take a ferry to Tortola. We’re happy to arrange taxi or ferry transfers to make your arrival seamless.

The local currency is the U.S. dollar, widely accepted across shops, restaurants, and marine services.

Many marine parks, like The Baths, observe strict conservation rules: no anchoring, mooring balls only, no fishing, no shell collecting, and speed limits in protected zones. Always consult official park websites for updated regulations and rates if any.
