Itinerary
From Tahiti, South Pacific to Polynesia, Tahiti, French Polynesia - French Polynesia
Check-in on board at 3pm, then a short sail in the lagoon towards the north-west of the island of Tahaa.
Sail to Bora Bora (4 hours). Lunch at anchor off Motu Tapu. Afternoon discovery of one of the most beautiful lagoons in the South Pacific. Night at anchor in East Bora Bora.
Breakfast on board. Short sail to Motu Taurere. Swimming and water sports. Afternoon discovery of Polynesia's most famous lagoon. Overnight at anchor at Matira Point. Optional excursion: Guided tour in a Polynesian pirogue, discovery of the lagoon, coral garden and manta ray watching (1/2 day).
After breakfast, sail for around 4 hours to the island of Tahaa. Lunch at anchor opposite the Ceran motu. Enjoy an afternoon at anchor for water sports (on board: snorkelling equipment, paddles and kayaks) and/or relaxing on the motu. Optional excursion: Dinner ashore in a restaurant with entertainment and Polynesian dancing
Morning shopping stop in Uturoa, Raiatea's main village. Visit the local market. Afternoon discovery of the eastern part of the Raiatea lagoon. Anchor in Faaroa Bay, dinghy trip up the Faaroa River, visit to the botanical garden. Optional excursion: guided tour of Raiatea, the sacred island, Taputapuatea marae, vanilla plantation, valleys and mountains (1/2 day)
Depart early for the island of Huahine, sailing for around 4 hours. Arrival at Huahine around noon. Lunch at anchor in Fare. Short sail to Ana Iti beach. Afternoon of water sports, kayaking, paddling, swimming and snorkelling. Optional excursion: discovery of archaeological sites, fish park, vanilla plantation and sacred eels (1/2 day).
Discover Avea and Bourayne bays, beaches and a coral garden. Return to the north of the island at Fare. Dinner at anchor.
Early departure for Moorea, around 12 hours sailing. Overnight at anchor in Moorea lagoon.
Anchor in front of the picturesque village of Papetoai. Water sports, swimming, kayaks, snorkelling with grey rays and at the Tiki site. Late afternoon anchorage in Opunohu Bay, short walk ashore. Optional excursion: Ethno-botanical excursion in the interior valleys of Moorea. 4X4 safari along the pineapple route, Fare sale and tasting of local produce, Polynesian archaeological sites lookout (1/2 day).
Water sports, swimming at Opunohu public beach, kayaks. Back on board for a short sail towards Cook Bay and the village of Maharepa, lunch on board. Then 2.5-hour sail to Tahiti, overnight at Marina Taina.
Disembarkation 08:00, Marina Taina, West coast of Tahiti The itinerary, activities and excursions are subject to change without prior notice, depending on weather conditions, excursions and/or technical reasons. The itinerary will be adapted to take full advantage of all the beauty of the archipelago (with possible changes to the order of the stages).
When sailing times are given above, they are based on an average cruising speed of 7 knots. They may vary depending on sea state, wind speed and weather conditions.
