With our summer special you now have an excuse to explore the South of France from the comfort of your own charter yacht. The Cote d’Azur region stretches 560 miles from the Italian border in the east, to Saint Tropez in the West.

If you have limited time to sail, we have some suggestions for the perfect week. There are no bad options when it comes to finding your favorite spots in the Mediterranean, but our “perfect week sailing the French Riviera” is a great way to get started especially if you are a lover of unspoiled paradises with loads of history and culture.

A week sailing the Mediterranean coast of Southeastern France starts at our charter base in Port Pin Rolland where you can set sail to the group of islands known as Iles of Hyeres. Porquerolles, only a short distance away, is the largest of the three islands.

Anchor for the night at beautiful Langoustier Bay or in one of the many other protected anchorages. Porquerolles is uniquely preserved in time, and driving cars there is strictly forbidden. Instead, tour the island by bike or by foot and get up close and personal with the natural environment.

Afterwards, just relax on board or get to know the locals in the village by the harbor. From Porquerolles sail around six hours to the anchorage at Pampelonne Bay in St. Tropez. The crystal clear water, beautiful beaches, shopping, fine French cuisine and high society visitors are a serious draw for tourists but do not miss out on discovering the charming old harbour and the Citadel. A stroll through the narrow roads of the city or a visit to the Annonciade Museum will fill any craving for history and culture.

For a little more privacy and tranquil scenery, sail next to Bonporteau Bay anchorage and onto Port Cros Island. The deep water harbour port is picturesque and sits under ancient forts on the hills.

While there, you can take in a hike with a view in the Port Cros National Park. From there, take the adventure back to Porquerolles Island, this time to Baie de l’Alycastre, for a bustling port option. Options for more serene anchorages are just around the corner.

On Island, there is an activity option for every member of the family, including beautiful snorkelling, fishing, biking or nature walks. Leave time to explore the preserved landscape of this island unlike any other.

For your final days, sail beyond Port Pin Rolland to check out Embiez Island, another car-free island to explore by foot or bike. The Paul Ricard Oceanographic Museum is worth the visit, as it highlights ocean conservation efforts and marine life sailors could not live without. Please don’t hesitate to contact one of our charter specialists who can get you started on planning your dream trip sailing the French Riviera.
