Head south to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvitourism.com\/devils-bay-national-park\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Devil\u2019s Bay National Park<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and explore The Baths, where the beautifully clear, sparkling water is the perfect location to spot a range of colourful fish and sea life while enjoying a chilled snorkelling or swimming session.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Head north and take some time to visit the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scubadiving.com\/bvi-art-reef-is-newest-artificial-reef-open-to-divers\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BVI Art Reef<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a phenomenal 80ft WWII barge, The Kodiak Queen, that has been transformed into an artificial reef and underwater art gallery. For those with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.padi.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PADI certification<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, head down to the hull and dive through the now flourishing coral. Further north, head up to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvitourism.com\/gorda-peak-national-park\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Virgin Gorda Peak<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where you\u2019ll be rewarded with spectacular views out over the glistening Caribbean sea from the highest point on Virgin Gorda.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anegada<\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dreamyachtcharter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/anegada.jpg\" alt=\"Sailing in the BVI - Pastel chairs in Anegada\" class=\"wp-image-9312\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well known around the globe for the annual <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvitourism.com\/anegada-lobster-festival\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anegada Lobster Festival<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> held in November, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvitourism.com\/anegada\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anegada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a charming island located at the northernmost point of the BVI, scattered with a number of secluded beaches, bays and coves that attract tourists throughout the year.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Head north east from Scrub Island and sail to Anegada&#8217;s northern coastline where you can anchor off <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cowwreckbeachbvi.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cow Wreck Beach<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to swim and snorkel before heading further east to Loblolly Bay. Moor overnight and enjoy a spectacular sunset before spending the morning exploring the miles of white sands that are lapped by sparkling cobalt sea and sitting on some of the cute pastel chairs that line the shoreline.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For keen divers, head to Horseshoe Reef for a spot of scuba diving, where you can discover some of the many shipwrecks that line the ocean floor, including the HMS Astrea, a 32-gun Royal Navy frigate that was wrecked off the coast in 1808.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jost Van Dyke<\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dreamyachtcharter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/bell-pontoon-on-jost-van-dyke.jpg\" alt=\"Sailing in the BVI - Bell pontoon on Jost Van Dyke\" class=\"wp-image-9313\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A popular spot for those sailing in the BVI thanks to the vast range of anchorages available, Jost Van Dyke is one of the BVIs&#8217; smallest islands and is an ideal place to head if you\u2019re looking for quirky tourist attractions, sheltered bays and some of the Caribbean\u2019s nicest people. Inland, explore the old sugar mill ruins or head to the east of the island and discover a quartet of stunning cays littered with verdant flora and fauna and edged with pure white sands.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those looking for some fun in the sun while sailing in the BVI, choose from a selection of lively bars, including The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.soggydollar.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soggy Dollar Bar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> located in White Bay, or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/foxysbar.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Foxy\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; a short sail from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvinpt.org\/diamond-cay\">Diamond Cay National Park<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tortola<\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dreamyachtcharter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/tortola-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sailing in the BVI - Tortola\" class=\"wp-image-9315\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The largest of the Islands, Tortola is a must when sailing the BVI, with a host of activities for all the family to enjoy. Anchor off of Smugglers Cove or sunbathe on the white sands at Apple Bay on the south west coast of the island, or explore the Larmer Bay ruins on the northern coast. If fishing is your thing, delve into the protected anchorages at Soper\u2019s Hole or Brandywine Bay, where you can catch a range of exciting tropical species including Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Sailfish.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For keen rum enthusiasts, take some time off the water to visit the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bvitourism.com\/callwood-rum-distillery\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Callwood Rum Distillery<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where you can sample and purchase some of the delicious rum made on the island. If you\u2019re looking for a spot of retail therapy, head to Nanny Cay, a popular marina with a selection of quaint boutiques, gourmet restaurants and a supermarket for provisioning.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Norman Island<\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dreamyachtcharter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/norman-island.jpg\" alt=\"Sailing in the BVI - Norman Island\" class=\"wp-image-9314\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the southernmost locations in the BVI, Norman Island is an ideal place for a relaxing day, taking advantage of the beautiful Caribbean weather while exploring one of the locations said to have inspired the writing of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The island is dotted with pretty little coves and secluded bays and has often been referred to as \u2018a yachtie\u2019s dream\u2019 thanks to its sheltered anchorages and crystalline cobalt water, ideal for discovering the local marine life, including dolphins and sea turtles.
