The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum has been called a “national treasure” by some on TripAdvisor and we couldn’t agree more with that statement. The CBMM has been around since 1965 and hasn’t lost its touch with bringing in visitors of all ages to explore it’s floating fleet of historic boats and twelve exhibition buildings, detailing everything in Annapolis boating history from its culture to its delicious seafood (We’re personally a fan of its crab dishes, for obvious reasons). We suggest checking out the Events page for upcoming workshops, specials, and more. There’s even a Name Board Workshop coming up in July that will have you carving and painting your own name board like a real craftsman.

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is a perfect stop in St. Michael’s while in Maryland on one of our Chesapeake Bay charters. We are booking for the current season which starts next month! Chartering the Chesapeake is great for day sails or those looking to get away close to home. For more information and pricing, check out our Annapolis fleet with Annapolis Bay Charters.
